Filling from products and posts
When your workspace has a store or site connected and your developer has mapped a module’s fields, you can fill the module by picking a product or post instead of typing.
Fill a module
Section titled “Fill a module”- Open the module in the campaign editor.
- At the top of its form, click Fill from a product or Fill from a post.
- Search and pick. The module’s mapped fields fill in. Its other fields stay as they are.
The form then shows what the module was filled from, with:
- Update: fill again from the latest version of the product or post, for example after a price change.
- Change: pick a different one.
- Open: view it in your store or on your site.
- Unlink: keep the content but stop tracking where it came from.
Filled content is ordinary content: edit any of it as you like.
Fill a repeater
Section titled “Fill a repeater”For repeaters such as a product grid, click Add products or Add posts on the repeater.
- Products: search by name, SKU, product URL or ID.
- Posts: search, filter by post type and sort, or paste a link to a post.
Pick several at once. They fill the repeater’s starting items first, then add new items, up to the most the repeater allows. Posts already in the email are marked In this email, so you don’t pick one twice.
To swap one item, use Replace with product or Replace with post in its menu.
Latest posts
Section titled “Latest posts”Some repeaters are set up to fill themselves with your site’s newest posts. When you add the module, it fills straight away. Click Get latest to fill it again later. Any items you picked by hand or typed over are kept.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- Nothing updates by itself. Prices and stock in a campaign are what they were when you picked or last clicked Update. Update before you export, especially for sales.
- The outline shows a product or post icon beside modules filled from one.
- Images are checked for email. If a product’s image may not work in every inbox, for example because it’s a WebP or larger than 1 MB, you’ll see a note.
- If a product or post is removed from your store or site, the form says it’s no longer there, and the content you filled stays in the campaign.
