AI settings and brand voice
Owners and Admins control AI help for the whole workspace from Settings, under AI help.
Turn AI help on or off
Section titled “Turn AI help on or off”Offer AI help turns on the Copy Assistant, alt text, subject line ideas and the AI check for everyone who edits campaigns. Turn it off and the sparkle buttons disappear.
Brand voice
Section titled “Brand voice”The Brand voice guide describes how your emails are written. Every suggestion follows it, and the Copy Assistant’s Brand voice option rewrites copy to match it.
Write it as you’d brief a new copywriter, in up to 2,000 characters:
Friendly and direct. Short sentences. We say "you", never "customers".British spelling. No exclamation marks in headlines.We talk about "the collection", not "the range".Don’t have one yet? Click Draft from our campaigns to get a first draft based on your recent campaigns, then edit it. Drafting uses one AI action.
Restricted terms
Section titled “Restricted terms”Restricted terms are words and phrases suggestions never use, one per line. Use them for:
- words your brand avoids, such as “cheap” or “guaranteed”;
- competitor names;
- terms legal has asked you not to use, such as “free” without conditions.
Terms are matched as whole words, ignoring case. If a suggestion includes one, the assistant tries again; if it still slips through, it’s highlighted so you can change it. The AI check also flags restricted terms it finds anywhere in the email, including the template’s own code.
Allowance
Section titled “Allowance”AI actions come from one pool the workspace shares. See AI actions for the amounts, and the trial meter in the sidebar for what’s left during a trial.
