Swapped it for the darker shot. @Priya better?
Your HTML templates, turned into a content editor.
Your developer marks the parts of a template that should change. Modular Mail turns those parts into fields your marketers fill in, and keeps everything else locked. Finished emails export as clean HTML to any ESP.
One template, two views
For developers, the template layerStandard HTML with a data-mm attribute on each editable element.
<table class="hero">
<tr>
<td data-mm="headline">
The autumn edit is here
</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td data-mm="body">
Waxed jackets, wool layers and trail boots.
</td>
</tr>
<!-- everything else stays as written -->
</table>
For marketers, the editorContent fields and a live preview, with no markup anywhere.

Waxed jackets, wool layers and trail boots for the wet months.
Start from the HTML you already have
Templates are standard HTML. Your developer adds data-mm attributes
to the text, images, links and buttons marketers should change, then sets up each field in the
form builder. Anything without one stays exactly as written.
<table class="hero">
<tr>
<td data-mm="headline">
Welcome to our summer sale
</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>
<a data-mm="cta" class="btn"
href="https://example.com/sale">Shop now</a>
</td>
</tr>
</table>
Modules
Split a template into a library of reusable modules: hero, product grid, promo banner, footer, or whatever your programme needs.
Field rules
Give any field a maximum length, or make it required.
Choices and colours
Offer approved options as a choice or colour field, such as your brand's button colours or two product card layouts. Options can set Outlook's bgcolor too.
Style presets
One choice option can set several styles at once, so a “Dark” option switches the background and text colours together.
New modules at any time
Add a module for a launch or a season and it appears in your team's library straight away.
An editor that only shows what should change
Your team opens a new campaign and sees your modules and their fields. They never see markup.

Build from modules
Pick modules from your library and drag them into order.
Inline editing
Type straight into headlines and body copy in the preview.
Variant pickers
Choose from the colours and layouts your developer approved.
Live preview
Desktop and mobile views update as you type.
AI Copy Assistant
Rewrite any field in your brand voice, or ask for something shorter or more urgent. Suggestions avoid your restricted terms.
AI Alt Text
Upload an image and get an accessible description in one click.
Feedback and sign-off in the same place
Reviewers see the email as it will look, comment on the part they mean and approve when they're happy. Nobody forwards screenshots or wonders which version was signed off.

Brand control, and a record of every sign-off
The rules live inside the template, so reviewers check the message rather than the layout.
Roles
Owners and admins manage the team. Developers build templates and marketers build campaigns from them, while reviewers comment and approve.
Version history
Every campaign is versioned, so you can see who changed what and roll back. You can also duplicate or branch a version.
Approvals on record
See who approved each campaign and when, and whether it has been edited since.
Brand voice and restricted terms
Set them once per workspace and every AI suggestion follows them.
Workspaces
Separate workspaces for each brand or client, each with its own templates, modules and campaigns.

The jacket shot looks washed out on mobile. Can we use the darker one from the shoot?
